About Us

For over a decade, Ardeo Education Solutions (formerly LRAP Association) has collaborated with colleges and universities across the United States to provide loan repayment assistance programs (LRAPs) for their students. As educational loans become a core component of how families pay for college, LRAPs are designed to help reduce the anxiety and burden of debt-repayment, thereby empowering students to enroll and graduate from their first-choice educational institution. Ardeo’s LRAPs provide a financial “safety-net” for families. If a student’s income after graduation is modest, the LRAP can help repay their student (and parent) loans.

Partner Colleges & Universities

More than 200 colleges and universities around the country have partnered with Ardeo Education Solutions (formerly LRAP Association) to eliminate the fear surrounding student loan debt, and to reinforce their commitment to student success and graduate outcomes. These institutions are well represented, across diverse segments of higher education, at both small colleges and large universities, and in nearly every region of the country. If you are searching for institutions that can offer you peace of mind with a loan repayment assistance program (LRAP), please feel free to speak with your admissions and/or financial aid counselors about whether the LRAP is an option for you.

Our Mission & Values

The mission of Ardeo Education Solutions (formerly LRAP Association) is to help students by increasing access to the life-changing impact of higher education, and to enable them to achieve their full potential.

We also want to support the career choices of students and families after graduation. The first job after graduating can make all the difference in a student’s career trajectory, and student loan repayment often plays a larger role in employment choices than it should. The last thing graduates need is for educational debt to force a choice between their passions and a paycheck.

This is especially true for graduates pursuing public service careers, who want to contribute meaningfully to society, even if it means they struggle financially. We believe in the value of public service, and our programs are designed to help students taking those, and other positions of interest, to do so without fear of being overwhelmed by the financial demands of student and parent loan repayment.

Our History

After graduating from Yale Law School and benefiting from their loan assistance program, our founder and president, Peter Samuelson, had a moment of realization about the future of how families pay for college. Recognizing the potential of a loan repayment assistance program, an effort was made to bring the powerful promise of the LRAP to undergraduate institutions.

After sketching out the essential elements on an airline napkin, Peter established LRAP Association in 2008, bringing Stephen Yandle (one of Yale’s program designers) and other industry experts on to the Advisory Board. These early days helped shape the organization and the way students, families, and institutional leaders think about affordability, access, and outcomes in higher education. In 2019, LRAP Association became Ardeo Education Solutions.

We are here to help.

Ardeo Education Solutions is filled with experienced professionals who are passionately dedicated to helping increase access to the life-changing power of higher education.
